Agreement & Acknowledgment
  • Mowing/Edging:
  • Mow the grass, as weather permits, to maintain an appropriate even height for the type of grass and season to ensure a well-manicured and healthy appearance. Mowing outside of the normal operating season will only be conducted if necessary to maintain a well-manicured appearance. Mowing will be done on a weekly or biweekly basis (depending on client’s selection) as needed at the contractor’s discretion to maintain an attractive, well groomed appearance. The operation season for Eco-Friendly Lawn and Landscaping is tentatively from mid April to mid November. Clippings will be placed in Client’s yard waste container or bagged and placed in Client’s trash can. Sweep or blow off walkways, patios, and driveways as needed. Service will not be available on New Years Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

    All sidewalks and curbs, to include driveways and ground level patios, shall be edged with a mechanical metal blade edger every two weeks. All sidewalks, curbs, driveways and ground level patios shall be blown clean of all grass cuttings, dirt, and debris at each visit.

    Grass around all street signs, lamp posts, fences, and any other obstructions shall be trimmed to maintain a well-manicured appearance.

  • Fertilizing:
  • Lawn areas will be fertilized to maintain good health, vigor, and color throughout the year.

  • Weeding:
  • Weeds in planter areas and lawn areas will be treated through spray applications or granular application of post and per emergent herbicides. Although consistent applications will be applied, no guarantee is given. Eighty percent (80%) control indicates treatments are working.

  • Aerating/Seeding:
  • This service can be applied twice a year.

  • Pruning/Trimming:
  • Prune and shape shrubs in accordance with overall aesthetics.

    Pruning shall include removal of dead or diseased branches, lateral and/or crossing branches not consistent with standard form, or where general thinning is needed for good light penetration and air circulation.

    Flowering trees and shrubs shall not be pruned while in bloom or at times when pruning will inhibit blooming.

  • Leaf Removal:
  • This service include durig fall.

  • Additional Services:
  • Additional services may be provided at additional costs as needed at client’s request. Such as mulching, sod installation, landscape upgrades, etc. Any additional services will be billed separately and in addition to lawn maintenance. .

    Disclosures

    On non-weather permitting days service will not be completed for that week.

    Repairs because of storm damage, vandalism, damage done by others or conditions beyond Eco-Friendly Lawn and Landscaping control such as over or under watering will be born by client.

    Eco-Friendly Lawn and Landscaping employees will attempt to close any gates opened for service. However, Eco-Friendly Lawn and Landscaping does not assume any liability if a gate is left open.

    Payment for Services

    Eco-Friendly Lawn and Landscaping accept the following: Mastercard, Visa, Discovery, American Express, and Pay pal. There will be 3 percent transaction fee for these services. No additional charge for personal check and money order.

    Invoicing

    Invoices will be submitted monthly by the Company for payment by Customer. Payment is due upon receipt and is past due twenty (20) business days from receipt of invoice. If Customer has any valid reason for disputing any portion of an invoice, Customer will so notify the Company within twenty (20) calendar days of receipt of invoice by Customer, and if no such notification is given, the invoice will be deemed valid. The portion of the Company's invoice which is not in dispute shall be paid in accordance with the procedures set forth herein.

    A finance charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid amount of an invoice, or the maximum amount allowed by law, will be charged on past due accounts. Payments by Customer will thereafter be applied first to accrued interest and then to the principal unpaid balance. Any attorney fees, court costs, or other costs incurred in collection of delinquent accounts shall be paid by Customer. If payment of invoices is not current, the Company may suspend performing further work.

    Changes

    Customer may, with the approval of the Company, issue written directions within the general scope of any Services to be ordered. Such changes (the "Change Order") may be for additional work or the Company may be directed to change the direction of the work covered by the Task Order, but no change will be allowed unless agreed to by the Company in writing.
